  “Wow,” Caine said.

“There’s more.” Jenna cleared her throat and continued. “It is a grueling job. We are in the business of providing fantasies which means we need to be available twenty-four hours a day. You will both need to update your certifications so you can teach diving and keep them current. In exchange, you will be provided with food, clothing, and a cabana a short distance from the castle, where you both may have some privacy during your down time.”

“He probably means the cabana he gave me when I first got here,” Caine said.

“That’s huge,” Jenna said, looking up from the letter. “Bigger than my apartment in Chicago.”

Caine shrugged. “We’re not in Chicago, are we?” He winked and nodded at the letter. “What else does it say?”

Jenna refocused on the slip of paper. “If you decide that you do not wish to take me up on this offer, Joely will fly you back to the mainland tomorrow morning. There will be no hard feelings or regrets.”

“If that guy thinks I’m getting in that puddle jumper again, then he’s got another think coming,” Jenna murmured.

Caine chuckled. “Not a flyer, are you?”

“Let’s just say I prefer diving.” Jenna looked back down at the letter. “I wish you well, Caine. No matter what path you choose, know that from this moment on I consider you a friend, and that is the rarest treasure of them all.”

“Wow,” Jenna said as she looked up from the note. “That's quite an offer.”

“Well,” Caine said as he laced his fingers with hers, “what do you say? Want to take Mr. Vardalos up on his offer?”

Jenna looked at him for a moment and smiled. “Did I ever tell you how much I hated working in a spa?”

Caine looked at her in confusion. “So that means...”

“Yes.” Jenna wrapped her arms around him and kissed his nose. “Let’s do it.”

Caine brushed his lips briefly against hers and raised his brows. “Are you sure? I mean, there's nothing in Chicago you want to go back to?”

“Caine, why would I ever want to go to Chicago, when everything I have is right here? Besides, I hate flying in Joely's death trap. That woman’s insane.”

“This is insane, you know that,” Caine chuckled. “Insane, but wonderful.” He tightened his arms around Jenna.

“Absolutely.” She stood and urged him to follow.

  “Where are we going?”

  “To celebrate.”

  “Celebrate where?”

She shrugged and pulled him away from the spa and out into the hallway. “Wherever this hallways leads,” She winked at him. “This is our fantasy, after all.”
